Great attention to detail, an eye for aesthetics, and stylish design are the foundations for Baan C2. Few houses make such an impression as this one with its intricate woodcarvings, massive size, and grand entranceway. The large ornate sloping roof, influenced by classic Thai design, has a hand carved centerpiece that is almost 3 meters in length. A rope lined, bi-level staircase leads up to the front veranda. Two matching double glass doors form the entrance to the home. Inside is a single great room adorned with handcrafts and artwork from Thailand ‘s regal past. The inside of Baan C2 is as stylish as it is spacious. Traditional rural Thai homes from days ago were crafted using the same design and materials as Baan C2. Long planks of native hardwood are hand polished to form the one great communal room. Inside the great room are two king size beds and teak furniture. A loft, only accessible by a ladder, is a perfect sleeping area. The front and back of the house have wall to ceiling glass doors. Both sides have louvered wood doors, which open up to the side verandas. The rear veranda leads to the two bathhouses. One contains an enclosed shower while the other has a western toilet, sink, and vanity unit.
