Baan Sparks is actually two large houses joined by a common sprawling veranda. The two independent structures are both elevated on long wooden stilts, a practical design that also makes for better views and catching great sea breezes. Baan Sparks is made almost entirely of local wood. Even the shingles are cut wood, unique from any other house at our resort. A wood staircase leads up to the extensive veranda, which forms a bridge joining the two wings. Each house also has it’s own private veranda (a great jungle veranda for the rear house and a sea view veranda for the front house.) The rear house, affording the most privacy, acts as the master bedroom. Louvered doors on three sides open up completely to the outside and wrap around veranda. Beautiful polished hard wood floors and white walls create a clean feel. The adaptable front house can either function as a complete second bedroom or a full living room depending on your needs. Hand crafted teak furniture, polished hardwood floors, and white walls complete the interior. Both houses have complete attached bathrooms. Each is styled with more ceramic tiles and a natural wood vanity. Both bathrooms also have a western toilet and shower.
