A rare Beach Front House that can comfortably sleep four adults, Baan Tamarin takes beach living to a whole new level. Built high on stilts, the sea views are excellent from almost anywhere in this house. The most spacious part of this house is the open walled sala where most of our guests prefer to lounge the day away. Covered by a traditional thatched roof, the sala extends outward to the beach, almost touching the waves. High vaulted ceilings, cool ocean breezes, and the open-air design create excellent air circulation for beachfront relaxing. Beach chairs and integrated benches on two sides of the sala provide the seating room.
The main interior of the house is positioned lengthwise to be parallel to the beach maximizing ocean views. Sliding glass doors along the entire front of the house also contribute to this effect. Clean white walls, light colored natural wood paneling, and an open lattice like design create a cool, breathable room that is perfect for the tropical environment. Natural hard wood floors with matte finish complete Baan Tamarin’s practical yet stylish design. High white tile walls surround the open-air bathroom designed for good ventilation and privacy.
Inside the bathroom is a small tropical garden, where young plants and trees grow unencumbered by a ceiling. A shower, western style toilet, and vanity unit complete this uniquely designed bathroom.
