Description:
Part of the larger Baan Yuth compound, this is the smaller sister house to Baan Yuth North. Baan Yuth South boasts the same Mediterranean influenced design with elements of Thai architecture. High stucco walls are paired with indigenous wood and deep red shingles. It is elevated on stilts for better ocean views and to catch the cooling the sea breeze. The open front veranda leads to the attached main house (not for rent) of the Yuth compound. This gives guests access to the shady, elevated back section of Baan Yuth. The veranda is also a great place to relax and watch the evening sun set over the ocean.

Inside large widows punctuate the native timber stained walls also used for the floor. A king size bed forms the centerpiece for the room. All the windows are paired with screens for added protection from mosquitoes and other not so pleasant residents of Koh Phra Thong.

	The new modern bathroom is as spacious as baths found in much larger houses. A western toilet, large shower, and vanity unit are all recent additions to this newly renovated beach bungalow.

Recommendations:
Baan Yuth North is perfect for budget or single travelers. The accommodations are simple, but clean, safe and comfortable. Also a great choice for active couples who prefer to spend their time on the beach or exploring the island rather than staying inside. Baan Yuth's more protected location and fully closing glass windows makes it a great choice during the rainy month of the monsoon season.
