Description:
Totally renovated in 2007, Baan Mac is the latest addition to Golden Buddha Beach Resort. Those who have visited our resort before will be amazed at Baan Mac's transformation from a simple wooden bungalow to one of our most spacious and unique Super Deluxe Beach Back Houses (one of the few that boasts two stories, with bedrooms and full bathrooms on both floors.)

Baan Mac's location is also enviable. Set a bit back from the beach front on the edge of the tree line, Baan Mac offers shade from the tropical sun, active birdlife, and an unobstructed sea view (no other houses are built in front.)

Whether upstairs or downstairs, Baan Mac provides the flexibility to accommodate almost any group. Each floor has a bedroom with attached bath and private entranceway. The modular beds allow multiple configurations of either single or king size to adapt to the guests' needs. The upstairs unit has a great shady sea view veranda and lots of ventilation. Downstairs large windows open up to the cooling sea breeze or close to offer complete privacy.

Baan Mac has two full bathrooms with modern amenities (shower, western toilet, and vanity unit).

Recommendations:
Baan Mac is one of the few houses that has private entrances both upstairs and down. This makes it a perfect choice for two couples or friends traveling together. Because of the house's design and location, Baan Mac is also a great choice for families. The ground floor is not elevated like many of our other houses, which makes coming and going easy and safe for young children. The house is also set slightly back from the Andaman Sea. Although just a minute's walk to the beach, this added distance is reassuring to some parents. Baan Mac also provides excellent year round protection from the elements and is highly recommended during the monsoon season.
