When are you open?
- We are typically open for 7 months of the year from October 1st – April 30th
How do I get the best prices on houses at Golden Buddha Beach?
- You will always get the best price by booking directly on our secure on-line booking system.
- Due to the uniqueness of our resort, very few agencies list Golden Buddha. We do permit a few selected web sites to take bookings, however, their price will never be lower than our online price. They do not have access to our “last minute” or “early bird” specials.
- It is our goal to treat everyone fairly and be consistent in our pricing.
Why do you charge 10% service to your services?
- We follow the standard industry practice in Thailand and add a service charge to all sales instead of a tipping policy
- The majority of the service charge is shared equally between non-management staff in a bi-annual bonus instead of tips.
What are the prices of meals and activities?
- Please see our full price list for 2011/2012 seasons. Please note that prices are indicative due to currency exchange fluctuations.
What is your tipping policy?
- We have a no tipping policy.
- We follow the standard industry practice in Thailand and add a service charge to all sales. We charge only 10%, which is comparatively low. We would appreciate it if you would leave a written recommendation if someone has been especially helpful.
What is your cancellation policy?
- Peak Season: From 20th December – 14th January
- Within 72 hours of on-line booking a full refund is available. This risk-free offer means you can book your house and then see if flights are available.
- No refunds will be made for arrivals scheduled during the peak holiday season for bookings if more than 72 hours after on-line booking
- Non Peak Season: From 15th January – 19th December
- Full refund if notified within 72 hours of on-line booking
- If notification of cancellation is received more than 30 days prior to the date of your planned arrival and within 55 days of your on-line booking then 90% of the payment will be refunded
- Due to our bank’s regulations, no refunds will be made more than 55 days from the booking day
- We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance in the event that you must cancel.
