a word from Alisa, your retreat facilitator
During our seven days together, we will explore creative ways to experience yoga asana and meditation practice. We will be focusing on pranayama as extended breathing techniques, with mudras and mantras.
We will dive deeper into your yoga practice by embracing the elements of fire, water, earth, air and ether: our Asana course will focus on different aspects of the elements and how they support your practice, your breath and your entire self for better health and full empowerment.
I will be teaching how, through mindful reflection and deepening awareness, a better understanding of breath can be used as a tool for empowerment, calming and distressing, and living more in the present. An enhanced appreciation of your breathing will allow you to operate more creatively within yourself, in your life and relationships with others.
Using pranayama, holotropic breath and deeper asana practice will enable you to find more harmony and balance in your life, on and off the yoga mat. It will help you to remain calm even in the midst of tension.

Alisa Sydenham is an internationally recognised yoga facilitator and award winning
retreat leader with a passion for wellness lifestyle. A devoted yoga/meditation practitioner
for over 20 years, Alisa has worked extensively across South East Asia, teaching yoga full
time and hosting retreats in India, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia and Thailand.
She is committed to a spiritual path and personal evolution, with intuition and compassion.
Favourite activities include Himalayan trekking, dance and scuba diving.
Alisa is originally from Santa Barbara, California.

three daily yoga classes, scheduled
06:30 am - Sunrise Pranayama and Sun Salutation (60 mn)
11:00 am - Yoga practice (75 mn)
21:00 pm - Evening Candlelight Pranayama, Meditation (60 mn)
Option to join the regular practice at the resort (yoga class at 8:00 am and meditation at 4:40 pm) for no additional charge; extra private yoga or life coach sessions can be booked with Alisa (additional charge).

The yoga retreat takes place on Ko Phra Thong, Thailand 17-23 November. You will need to arrive at the resort on the 16th, and plan for departure on the 24th.
ranong airport (flights from Bangkok only) + 90 minutes car ride to Kuraburi pier. You will need to arrive at Ranong Airport no later than 2pm on the 16th. Please consider the journey back before booking your return flight which should not be earlier than 1pm on the 24th to allow for travel time.
